One of the big adjustments we've had to make while living in San Diego is the lack of seasons. Since this week the average high temperatures were in the 80's instead of the 90's, we figured this is "fall." (And it's the middle of October. So there's that.)
So, we headed out to Oma's Pumpkin Patch in Lakeside, CA. It was definitely odd being surrounded by desert while pumpkin picking, but we had fun anyway!
Isla had lots of fun running through the pumpkin barn, "sledding" on cottonseed, petting goats, wandering the hay bale maze and seeing a pair of twin calves born that very morning. She of course enjoyed the swings and the hand wash station the most:-)
